Are they sure the limited foods they are eating are really what they need to be putting into their body to lose weight? Are they even sure that the exercise and workout they are doing is what they need to be losing weight, and reach their ideal physique?

Today we are in an age when weight loss has never been so easy, and weight management has never been so attainable. There are three main things that go into losing weight and maintaining your ideal body weight.
Nutrition: Nutrition is very important, one key element in a healthy weight loss program is to know what you’re eating. To shed fat you have to be burning more calories than you're eating, so for starters eat fewer calories. But that doesn't mean, stop eating, this won't help you lose any fat at all. When you starve your body it automatically goes into starvation mode and when you do eat it stores most of the food as fat, for fear of not eating for a long time again.
Let’s get some information about food and nutrition. We all know calories are what make us fat, but what is a calorie. Simply put a calorie is energy. A more scientific definition is the amount of energy (or heat) needed to raise the temperature of 1 gram of water by 1 degree Celsius. An accumulation of 3,500 calories is stored in your body as 1 pound of fat. Conversely losing 3,500 extra calories means you have lost 1 pound of fat. Calories are used all day everyday by our body and we cannot live without them. We derive our calories from three macronutrients. Protein, carbohydrates, and fats. Fats have approximately 9 calories per gram, while proteins and carbohydrates each have approximately 4 calories per gram. The calories coming from protein are used for maintenance, repair, and growth of new tissues and organs. Calories from carbohydrates are used for energy. Calories from conventional sources of fat are prone to be stored as such since they already have the same molecular structure as body fat.
Approximately 10% of the calories you consume are used to process the foods that you eat. When your body processes food, it burns calories and releases heat. This is referred to as thermogenesis. If you consume 3,000 calories, 300 of them will be used for processing. Thermogenesis is the process by which the body generates heat, or energy, by increasing the metabolic rate above normal. The thermic effect of food means that processing different types of food requires different amounts of energy or heat production. Proteins offer the greatest thermic effect, and fats the worst. Say you consume 100 calories of protein, 7 of it is used to process the food, 93 is retained, for carbs 4 are used and 96 are retained and fat 3 are used and 97 are retained.
Some people are able to eat what they want, not do too much physical activity and still keep an ideal body weight, this is because of their metabolism, with the information I give you, you too can have the benefits of people with these awesome metabolisms. Exercise: If you want to lose weight, you need to exercise, and exercise the whole body. Now that you're eating fewer calories, you’re on the right track but for you to lose weight you need to be burning more calories that you are taking in. Exercise is essential to attaining your ideal physique. Exercise allows for definition in the body once you lose that fat. The great thing about exercise is your body burns an increased number of calories for about two hours after you've stopped exercising.
